ABOUT
Carli Bureynejad graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute with an honours program in Fashion Editorial Branding in 2019 and has been working as a freelance multidisciplinary creative since. Skilled in art direction, commercial and editorial styling, e-commerce, social content creation, graphic design and branding. Focused on creating aesthetically pleasing content that tells a story, from initial conceptualization until the end result.
"As I am always evolving and establishing my own identity in this ever-changing world, so does my work. I am a double blood, an open minded spirit, who trancends boundaries and doesn't like to put myself or others into boxes. While growing up in this Western world, I've always been aware and proud of my Persian roots. This mix of cultures is part of what defines me, enriches me and makes it easy for me to adapt to different kinds of people, cultures, stories and also styles.
In this era of global connectivity, we can use this to empower ourselves, embrace other cultures and get closer to each other. Since fashion and society have always been closely connected, making a change in the fashion industry hopefully has a positive influence on society too. So we can create a future where there will be more togetherness and oneness while celebrating everybody’s uniqueness at the same time. I want to bridge gaps between different people and cultures by embracing and showing the beauty of it."
